Cayley Hall is available for rental to the public. The hall can comfortably hold 100 people. Amenities include: Full kitchen (two fridges, stove, oven, industrial exhaust system, fire sensing equipment), plates, cutlery, 12 - 5' round tables, 4 - 4'x2'6" rectangular tables, 4 - 6'x2'6" rectangular tables, 118 chairs, 100 cup coffee maker and, of course, a dishwasher.
Rental Policies and Procedures
NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE RENTERS: Cayley Hall is EXCLUSIVELY RESERVED for Church use EVERY SUNDAY to 2:00 pm. If you wish to make an appointment to see the Hall on a Sunday, it MUST be made for after 2:00 pm. Please check the reservations calendar for availability ... "Reserved for Church use" means that the Hall is not open for inspection.
The rental rate for Cayley Hall is $75.00 per hour. Cheques should be made payable to Christ Church. A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required to confirm a booking - the remainder is due upon receipt of the key. An additional $150.00 is required at that time as a security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded if the Hall is left clean and in good repair with all garage removed. Also required by the renting organization or group is insurance of a minimum five million dollars of public liability. The insurance certificate must indicate the renting organization or group and Christ Church - Cayley Hall as co-insured for the date of the function. A liquor permit is also required for all functions selling alcohol. A Smart Serve bartender is required for all functions serving alcohol.
Following the function/event, all garbage and blue box material must be taken with you. If this is not done, your security deposit will be retained to cover cleanup. Once your event is completed, the Hall should be set-up to the condition in which it started - that is, six (6) rectangular tables placed in the centre with 22 chairs around them. Just before you leave, the key should be deposited into the mail slot in the door beside the Men's washroom (unless other arrangements were made with the Hall manager). Any damage should be reported to the Hall Manager as soon as possible. Please leave a report in the mail slot.
We thank everyone for the respect of the property and consideration for the owners and other renters of Cayley Hall and especially the neighbours of Cayley Hall. Because of the residential location of Cayley Hall, all loud music must be stopped by 1:00 am.
